Nonverbal Communication and Body Language
A one-day course on reading and sending nonverbal signals
Overview
A one-day course on interpreting and sending nonverbal messages. Participants work through the six areas of nonverbal communication — kinesics, haptics, vocalics, proxemics, chronemics and self-presentation — and apply the five Cs of decoding before practising techniques for showing listening, building rapport and demonstrating confidence. The pack gives a trainer scripted session notes, timed activities and fully editable materials for classroom or online delivery.
Format. One day (about 7 hours including breaks); can run as two half days or a series of 2-hour online sessions. Designed for classroom delivery and adaptable to live online sessions.
Who it is for. Open level — anyone who wants to decode other people's nonverbal signals and manage the ones they send, at work or elsewhere.
