Terms of sale

These terms govern purchases from mizan.work, operated by Annas Dahrouj, doing business as MIZAN ("MIZAN", "we"). By completing a purchase you accept them.

1. What you are buying

MIZAN sells digital training course materials delivered as downloadable files. No physical goods are shipped. The product description on each course page — contents, formats and slide counts — forms part of these terms.

2. Checkout and merchant of record

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, which acts as the seller of record for the transaction, handles payment processing, and calculates and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT for your jurisdiction. Your payment details are never stored by MIZAN.

3. Delivery and license stamping

Download links are issued after successful payment to the email address provided at checkout. Your license is recorded against your order, which is the authoritative record of what you bought and what you may do with it.

SCORM packages bought through the store are delivered as the same package to every purchaser and are not individually stamped; the order remains the license record. White-label builds are generated for one organisation and carry its identity throughout. Where a file is stamped, removing or falsifying the stamp is a material breach of these terms. If a download fails or a file is corrupted, contact hello@mizan.work and we will reissue it.

4. License and intellectual property

Your purchase grants a per-organisation license to host the course on your own LMS, as described on the licensing page, which forms part of these terms. Intellectual property in the materials remains with MIZAN and its licensors. The license is perpetual and non-transferable. It does not permit resale, sublicensing, redistribution, public posting, or upload of the materials to any file-sharing service or public repository. Loading materials into a learning management system requires the SCORM edition of the course.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled under the refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the materials in a way that is unlawful, or represent MIZAN as the deliverer or endorser of your training. You are responsible for how the materials are adapted and presented once edited.

7. Liability

The materials are professional content, not legal, medical or regulatory advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MIZAN's total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that purchase.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes fall to the courts of Dubai, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
