A half-day, beginner-level course on communicating across cultures. The session covers what culture is, the obstacles that hinder communication — culture clash, culture shock, stereotypes — verbal and non-verbal differences, ten cultural value dimensions, and practical improvement strategies. Trainer notes script every slide with timings, activity instructions, and online adaptations for classroom or videoconference delivery. Everything is editable, and you can add your own logo.

Participants compare five definitions of culture, examine its characteristics and the cultural iceberg, and identify the benefits of intercultural competence.

Covers culture clash, culture shock, and how stereotypes and prejudices distort communication between cultures.

An intercultural quiz leads into verbal and non-verbal behaviors, ten cultural value dimensions, and cultural clusters.

Participants identify personal actions and attitudes, review what an organization can do, and plan a concrete step using the checklist.
